ABOUT MATAPALO

Cabo Matapalo is a remote community, 45 minutes from Puerto Jimenez, in the Golfo Dulce.  The area is popular with wildlife enthusiasts, yoga practioners and surfers.  Unlike most communities in Costa Rica however, there are very few traditional shops or restaurants in the immediate area and most homes and eco-lodges are off-the-grid and hidden from view.  Dining and meal plans are available at the Encanta La Vida, directly across from the house.   You can also dine at Buena Esperanza (Martina's Bar) and nearby eco-lodges Lapa Rios and Bosque Del Cabo.

*All tours, dining reservations and ground transportation can be arranged at the Encanta La Vida.
